Summer Program

Need a safe, fun place for your child this summer? Day Nursery of Abilene offers affordable quality child care. Limited space is available!

SUMMER ACTIVITIES FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN:

Each month of the summer is filled with lots fun activities, field trips, and cooking activities.

Below is a list of themes for each month during the summer with one major activity. There are many activities planned each day and a complete calendar of events can be picked up at each center.

June:
Getting to know you – All about me projects
Western Week – Trip to the High School Rodeo
Wildlife Week – Trip to the State Park
Patriotic Week – Red White and Blue week

July:
Camping Week – Bring your sleeping bag for day camping
Space Week – Movie Planet 51 and visit Planetarium
Pet Week – May Farm
Community Helper Week – Visits from the Fire Department and Police Department

August:

Hawaii/Beach Week – Sonic Sand Volleyball
Physical Fitness Week – Trip to the State Park
Back to School Party Week – Talent Show

Day Nursery also offers age-appropriate programs for all children age birth through 10 years.
